Royal Albert Hall
Close up of Royal Albert Hall.
From WikPedia:
The Royal Albert Hall is an arts venue situated in the Knightsbridge area of the City of Westminster, London, England, best known for holding the annual summer Proms concerts since 1941.
The Royal Albert Hall is one of the UK’s most treasured and distinctive buildings, recognisable the world over. Since its opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, the world’s leading artists from every kind of performance genre have appeared on its stage. Each year it hosts more than 350 performances including classical concerts, rock and pop, ballet and opera, tennis, award ceremonies, school and community events, charity performances and lavish banquets.

Day 161: Round Pond
09 June 2008
I can no longer recall why I decided to shoot the swans at 16mm with the lens close to the water . . . it looked like fun at the time!
From WikiPedia: The Round Pond is a pond in Kensington Gardens, London, in front of Kensington Palace. It is, however, not at all round, but more like a square with protuberances at the corners.
Day 140: Kyoto Gardens
On day 140, I took a break from Night Shots and visited the local park; (Hence the title of my previous picture).
This is Kyoto Gardens in Holland Park, West London; I try to visit once a year though I am not very comfortable photographing Natural Landscapes.
I got a wide view as well but I think I shot something similar this time last year so I went with this close-up @ 16mm.
(Panorama from two horizontal images stitched with ptgui).
Day 53: That’s Good, That’s Bad
I have not been able to process my latest pictures because my PC has been blue-screening lately and I already had to rebuild my Lightroom Catalog once after it corrupted.
Anyway, this was shot on my way to PC World where I have been researching new PCs; I think I may have shot nicer pictures later in the night but I cannot spend more than an hour on the PC before it blue screens with MACHINE_CODE_EXCEPTION so I am having to pick one picture a day and try and process it before the PC dies.
(I’ve been told that a System Fan may have stopped working but I still need to work up the courage to check this out myself).
