Pentland Hills from Edinburgh Castle

19 Jan

Castle Rock, Edinburgh
13 December 2014

The Hills in the background are Pentland Hills; they are the same mountains visible from Authur’s Seat (I didn’t know their names then but I found out today).

This Photograph was taken from the grounds of Edinburgh Castle.

From WikiPedia: “The Pentland Hills are a range of hills to the south-west of Edinburgh, Scotland. The range is around 20 miles (32 km) in length, and runs south west from Edinburgh towards Biggar and the upper Clydesdale.”
