Day 135: London Victoria

15 Sep

London Victoria

Missed opportunities here but the longer days were killing me at this point čśŽ

The spacey building is Cardinal Walk; I’ve photographed the interior before but I was too tired to try again that night.

From WikiPedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Street,_London
Victoria is an informal area of inner city London, lying wholly within the City of Westminster, and named for Victoria of the United Kingdom.

Victoria Street runs on an east-west axis from the station to Broad Sanctuary at Westminster Abbey. There is a new development, called Cardinal Walk (perhaps aptly located across the street from Westminster Cathedral), which contains a selection of restaurants, banks and shops, including a Marks and Spencer store.
