This is the Mitre Bridge in West London; it is on Scrubs Lane; about 20 minutes walk from where I live.
Mitre Bridge isn’t a bridge over the River Thames, it is a bridge over the Grand Union Canal that passes through that area; it also serves as a bridge over the Railway that is parallel to the Canal.
A sign on the Bridge suggests that it may have been built around 1801 but I am not sure that this is right and I cannot verify the information from either Google or WikiPedia (they have mostly nothing relevant about the bridge).
I think this may be my first sunrise picture on Flickr. I have taken early morning pictures before but none with an actual sunrise.

This is my picture-a-day project.
There can be a series of pictures posted in one day but the only rule is that there must be a least one picture shot on the day it is assigned for.
