London Trafalgar Square

London Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square, 22 July 2009

Tonight’s sunset; I haven’t been shooting for a while but I broke my DVD player last night and had to go into Central London this evening to buy another one.

The sunset lasted for just a few minutes and I was lucky to have the LX3 round my neck at the time.

I had my SLR with me but it had the fish-eye lens on the camera; I took a picture anyway but by the time I reached into my camera bag for a wide-angle lens, dark clouds have moved across the sun’s path and the sunset was over.

Day 41: Chinese New Year celebrations

A child’s balloon floats across my frame during the Chinese New Year celebrations at Trafalgar Square, London.

Unfortunately, I only managed to get one shot (auto-focus issues).

I hope to be able to post one or two more shots from the Chinese New Year celebrations but 200mm on a Canon 5D is not much and it looks like I may be investing in either a Canon 1.4x Extender or a 300mm lens.

Day 20: Bad Timing

Bad Timing

On Day 20, my timing was off and most of my bus streaks turned out like this (or worse).
